I leveraged AWS cloud-based technologies such as S3, Redshift, and Lambda to manage high-risk transactions within Amazon Payment's risk operations team. My responsibilities included extracting, transforming, and loading large data sets from various sources, creating custom dashboards and reports using SQL queries and Python scripts in Tableau and QuickSight, and leading cross-functional projects to optimize risk management processes. Additionally, I conducted periodic risk assessments and audits, identified control gaps, and provided recommendations for improvement to ensure regulatory compliance. I also mentored junior team members on best practices in data analysis, modeling, and risk management techniques, contributing to increased team productivity and skill development.
